One Down...

One final down, one to go.

I had my Media Techniques final this morning at 7:30 am! It was painful, but I think the test went well. It's nice to be done with that class, I hated it. The material just wasn't my cup of tea. Tomorrow is my Psychology final. I really enjoyed that class and hopefully the test will go well like the others have.

Around 9 I took a nap and slept until 11:30ish. It was amazing. I love naps. Then I met up with my roommate Ashley and studied around the pool for a little while. I am working on grades and a tan at the same time, my kind of study session...

*AMAZING DISCOVERY* Today I found out you can change your language on Facebook. I changed mine from English (US) to English (Pirate). It is probably one of the most exciting things I have discovered in awhile. Here are few examples of the "language" differences...
  • "like this" changed to "arrrr, this be pleasin' to me eye"
  • "8 minutes ago" changed to "8 shots o' rum ago"
  • "tell us something about yourself" changed to "avast, make yerself known"
  • "log out" changed to "abandon ship"

It is indescribably amusing to me. :)

Wish me luck tomorrow.

KK

Woo.

Tuesday, Tuesday.

Today was a good/bad day. Good overall with bad lowpoints. Went to work from 730-1.
>High Point- One of the women in the office bought me a breakfast sandwich because she didn't want to eat by herself, DELISH!
>Low Point- Found two roaches crawling around my office and had to chase them around with Hot Shot.

Then went to sell back my books.
>Low Point- Stupid book store only took one of my four books. They cost me about $200, I got a whopping $16 back.

Ventured over to Starbucks for a meeting with my fellow executive board members to talk about our ideas for FPRA next year.
>High Point- Talked about some great ideas to grow FPRA next year.
>Low Point- In the middle of the meeting we were interupted by a large lizard falling on my head, walking around, crawling down the back of my hair and shoulders before being flung off by a friend.

Went back to work around 430 for a conference call. Ordered dinner from Buffalo Wild Wings, they told me it would be 15 minutes.
>Low Point- Left 15 minutes after ordering and waited 30 minutes while I watched them hand people behind me their food.

Which brings me to present time. Semi watching tv/semi studying--mostly typing this thing.

0 exams down 2 to go.

Peace and Love,
KK

Happy Monday

Today was a busy day. We had an orientation at work for the new summer intern. (Who I am VERY excited about). And I didn't stop working after. There aren't enough hours in the day!!

Exciting News!!! While at work today I was informed that I will be getting a new title too! I am a "Junior Account Executive," fancy, huh?

Going to sell back some books and hit the gym. Talk to you soon.

No More School!

Well, yesterday was offically my last day of class. I still have two finals next week but my classes are done. It's crazy! I can't believe how fast this semester flew by. It was a pretty busy last day of class. First I worked in the morning and had two client meetings. Then had two review sessions in class. In my tap class we had our final performance. My group was called Mac Daddy and the 80's Ladies. We tapped to 80's music and dressed up. Here are a few pictures of my group:
(The girl in the blue on my right is my roommate Ashley)

We had WAY to much fun. We told our class we may not have had the most challenging choregraphy but we had the most attitude and best costumes!! After my performance I had to go straight home and get ready for an event for work. It was the FPRA image awards. Our company won 6 awards! I was so proud. :) Going to events like that with the people I work with reminds me how fun they are and how lucky I am to work there. It's the perfect work atmosphere for me. Tonight, I have a social for the FPRA student chapter. We are going to a restaraunt in town, Mint Lounge, celebrating the end of another year and saying goodbye to all of our senior members. It should be a lot of fun. No big plans for this weekend yet. Probably just doing some study guides for my finals and hopefully getting some sun by the pool.
Happy Weekend Ya'll. Talk to you soon!!

Updates, Updates, Updates

For those of you that don't know...I have many VERY exciting things going on....

1. I got a new internship for the Fall semester. It is at the Sports Information Office at FSU. I will be doing sports media stuff throughout the week and then be working at the football games on the weekend. At the games I will be helping with all the press events before and after the game and be watching the game from the press box helping reporters with anything they need/updating stats.

2. I got a semi-promotion at work. Same title, more money, my own office!! Woo!!

3. The club I have been very active in for two years just held exec. board elections and I won the Vice President position. Double Woo-hoo!! As the VP I am responsible for planning a trip each semester for about 50 girls to visit a city and meet with PR professionals.

4. This summer I am staying in Tallahassee and working hard. My schedule has me working about 32 hours a week. So bye-bye tanning, hello mall.

5. I just got back from Orlando last night. I visited my friends Callie, Juli and Stephanie's apartment. I had a great time. Luckily, I was able to see the Mendoza's and my other love Michelle while I was in Orlando too which made the trip perfect.

That's about all I got for now.

Much Love,

Just a Reminder- My TWENTY FIRST Birthday is in less than a month, May 16th. Get excited! I am!

Why Blog?

Unfortunately, I have noticed over my three years away at school, keeping everyone updated on my life is becoming increasingly harder and harder. My days only seem to get busier leaving me less time to call or email everyone I need to. This is my solution.

I decided to report my updates, good news and bad days in one location so my family and friends who are interested can check it out. This isn't really my type of thing so bare with me while I get the hang of telling a computer how my day went. :)

Anyway, check in periodically. Hopefully someone will read and enjoy this!

Love,
KK
